Recycle, Reuse & Refill

We recycle, reuse and refill our packaging, cleaning sprays and old spectacle cases. We donate patients’ old specs to Lions Club, and facilitate the recycling of disposable contact lenses and blister packs through Opticycle.

We partner with Aussie frame brands who hold genuine sustainable credentials:

  • Good Citizens: A local Northern Beaches company making glasses from 100% recycled plastic bottles
  • Otis B Corp certified, from WA, crafting frames from eco-acetate that’s recyclable and biodegradable
  • Other brands using similar eco-acetate: Garrett Leight, Van Staveren, Eyes Right Optical, Bill Bass and Dirty Dog

If you have glasses you no longer need, please bring them in today.

An estimated 250 million people around the world are unable to see properly because they do not have a pair of glasses. This can make even the simplest of jobs difficult to do and getting a job, impossible.

You can help turn this around. Bring in your old prescription or non-prescription glasses or sunglasses and your unused spectacles can be put to good use in developing countries.
